About this website

I created this website to share my thoughts about the things I'm passionate about in various formats. The interests page lists each of these in more detail; it links to a number of my blog posts. On the blog tab, each of these pages are laid out in chronological order. So far, not much is there, but I'm slowly working on writing more pages and hope to create them semi-consistently (writing is hard!). I also have a thoughts page which is a collection of short, miscellaneous musings.

As mentioned earlier, this website is still very much under construction and has been for over two and a half years. It took so long to get to this point because everything including the page generator was written by hand. My static website generator, which I have been calling "intention", is coded in Python and allows me to write the content of each page in markdown (this isn't a particularly unique idea). I actually had most of the static website generator finished within a few weeks of starting the project, but I got carried away trying to make a math renderer that matched my standards. The scope of that project ended up getting out of hand which continually pushed back the publication of my website. That is, until recently when I said "enough is enough" and switched gears to finish this.
